Born in the south of Romania, I spent my early childhood there, then moved to the extreme north, in the picturesque region called Maramures, where I spent my childhood and teenage years. That early “migration” probably gave me the taste of exploring new places, and the spirit of restlesness.
As a kid, I dreamed of traveling places, experiencing the wonders and cultures of the great wide world.
As an adult, I’m doing it. (Working in IT has helped a bit!)
I’ve lived and worked for longer periods of time in USA and Cyprus. Currently I am in Ireland.
I’ve also made longer visits to the UK, Germany and Israel. The shorter ones I will not mention here, but you’ll most likely find about them in the pages of this blog.
I started this blog with the purpose of keeping track of my impressions of the places I’ve lived, what I learned (and continue to learn) while living abroad, quests I undertook and mistakes that made me wiser
