About

Born in the south of Romania, I moved 800km away to the extreme north in the picturesque region of Maramures when I was 3, later saw the Berlin wall from the wrong side when I was 5… my love for travelling has its roots in the early days :D

Coming from a family with a tradition in teaching and law practice, I developed an early interest in history, geography and languages. The increased spread of personal computers in post-revolutionary Romania in the ’90s gave me the opportunity to discover a new inclination, which lead to graduating the Computer Science English Study Faculty of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

In the years since, I was fortunate enough to have experienced work and life in the U.S., Cyprus and currently Ireland.
I now have over five years experience in the IT & Telecommunications industry, working in a highly multicultural environment which has given me a wide outlook on the industry, having gained technical ability as well as soft skills. I chose a customer-facing career path, and moved from being the only technical person in a 300 employee company to working for a large multinational implementing mediation projects at customer sites.

I am involved in Junior Chamber International, a non profit worldwide organization of young leaders and entrepreneurs. Its goal to create positive change in the world by providing a platform for its members to become better persons via various training and active citizenship programmes.
